Jimbro had the lyrics...."where there's a Willie there's a Waylon" in his head a few months until the song "That's the Way Love Is" came into being. Jim spent his childhood in Oklahoma where many tornados are born ... and has spent all his adult life in Austin Texas where Willie is the King... having supplanted Bob Wills...and then there's not a song without love in it.
